Children's Dentistry

Dental Care for Children

Children & Adult Dentistry started as a pediatric dental office in 1992, and for close to a quarter of a century now, we have remained steadfast in our commitment to provide kids with the dental care they need to safeguard their oral health.

We help children develop dental habits as early as possible so they can maintain excellent oral health for a lifetime. Based on our own experience with young patients, children who are introduced to regular dental checkups as early as the age of 18 months are more likely to maintain good oral hygiene as they grow older. We have also found that kids seen by their dentist at a young age are less likely to have dental phobia.

Early diagnosis of potential teeth and gum problems can also prevent the issue from developing or advancing to the point that it is no longer reversible. Moreover, when we have a consistent dental health record of your child, we can make proactive decisions about protecting his teeth.

What You Can Do Before Your Child’s First Visit

  • You can take your child on a virtual tour of our office to make him feel comfortable.
  • Share your own positive dental experiences with your child.
  • Introduce your child to the dentist and common dental procedures by showing him books, websites and magazines.

Doing these things can help ease any anxiety or tension your child might have prior to his or her first dental visit.
