General Dentistry for Children and Adults

"We have been seeing Dr. Schwartz since we moved to SWFL in 2014. Our first visit there my husband and I were told we needed a lot done, which didn't seem right based on past dental experiences but honestly past experiences in central Florida weren't great at all and he showed us pictures of our teeth and explained everything so we felt comfortable and decided to stick with him. Dr. Schwartz is definitely a perfectionist and wants to make sure everything is done the right way. Years ago I got a crown and later had some issues and it turns out it was cracked and needed to be redone. It was done at no charge under their guarantee. It can take some time to get an appt for us just because our schedules and child care needs but the front desk ALWAYS tries to work with us and accommodate us and will even call if they get something open that may work better for us. We've never had a long wait for our appt once there, I feel like they are great at keeping the office flow going and at the same time you don't feel rushed at all. Most recently I had to have another crown on a different tooth that had a few cracks and couldn't be filled again. After the crown prep I had some discomfort that continued to worsen so I called for an appt and they were able to get me in quickly. They took me right away once there and Dr. Schwartz took the time to really listen to my symptoms and discuss options. Because I'm pregnant he wanted to avoid xrays if possible and really be conservative with treatment. We tried adjusting my bite and it seemed to work because when I left I felt so much better. Until I didn't feel great after eating so I called again and got an appt quickly and then we did one xray and based on symptoms and pain after adjusting bite again he really thought I needed a root canal. Never felt pressured to do anything I may not need. He took his time sitting and talking with me and seeing how long my pain lasted after my bite adjustment. He tried to avoid doing a root canal. But he really felt I needed it. So he did it and I'm glad I listened because finally I feel 110% better. It was not completed in the first visit bc I was bleeding too much but he will finish it before they put my final crown on. He gave me his cell number and said to call him any time if I have any problems, questions or concerns. He gives his cell to everyone and it's listed on their card. Tonight, he called me personally to check on my pain and see how I was feeling. Truly appreciate Dr. Schwartz and his staff and I'm glad he was recommended to us many years ago."

Since then, I have had the amazing experience to have worked with over hundreds of  Dentist in the U.S and in Europe as a consultant. I have seen all kinds of work, some good some bad, and each time I visit a practice I cannot help but remember all that Doctor Schwartz taught me in the past. You see as a consumer you don't really know the difference between a good root canal and a bad one, or a well done crown and one that does not meet the proper expectations, but one thing you can be sure of, and it's that Dr. Schwartz will always stand behind his work, and will never deliver anything that is less than his desirable outcome. He sets high standards for himself, his staff and the labs that he uses. Most dental practices process their patients, while Dr. Schwartz and his staff serve their patients. It's been over 10 years since I have seen Dr. Schwartz and I have not been paid to write this review. My intentions for this is to help someone on the fence that is looking for a great dentist but maybe undecided because there's too many options. I highly recommend Dr. Schwartz and his staff from a professional standpoint and a personal one."

"I have had an Implant, Root Canal and a Crown all within the last year. I have real problems with Dentists and I must say there was no pain only pressure because of Dr. Scott and the techniques he uses.  After each procedure I only used aspirin and not so much of that -- I was sore for a bit for a day or two.  He is honest with his evaluations and has a terrific professional manner.  I fully recommend his practice and his staff are a pleasure to work with.  P.S. "I was petrified of the dentist, my first office visit I informed the staff from the receptionist to the moment Dr Swartz walked into the room  that I was terribly afraid  of the dentist  and feeling any pain . Dr Schwartz assured me  that he would make everything pain free . After my first visit my fear of dentist went away . I've been going to Dr Schwartz for over 30 years that in itself speaks volume. Yes, his services are a little higher than others but you pay for what you get if you want excellent service you pay for excellent service. I tried to get one of my friends to go to Dr Schwartz but she said the quote was too expensive she chose to go to a cheaper dentist in town. And she was in so much pain she had to return to the dentist office six times because they left pieces of her extracted tooth in her gum and pieces of the root from  the extracted tooth in her gum!! Yes, she had to return six different times for them to correct the problem! She chose to go a cheaper way and she got cheaper service! In my it is my opinion that Dr Schwartz is the best dentist in Fort Myers.Dr. Swartz thank you for all your years of pain free service.

"Best dentist ever! Had extreme headaches for 18 months. Went to GP 4 times given all kinds of antibiotics and pain killers. I am a cancer survivor so was really afraid of what was going on .Had multiple MRIs, sinus X-ray you name it. Then off to ENT more test negative. Everyday extream headaches,  2 dentist later found DR Schwartz. 

Dr Schwartz found my problem within 10 min, started treatment that day, was 70% better in 5 days have probably couple more treatments and I’ll be 100%!  

No more cancellations of vacations I am no longer in pain. 

Don’t delay in going to this wonderful Dr who literally gave me my daily life back to normal!!

"I don't often take the time to review businesses or restaurants, much less medical professionals or lawyers. But in the case of Children & Adult Dentistry, I take exception. Maybe it's because each and every staff member, as well as Dr's Schwartz and Nodesh are so uniquely exceptional. Here, you'll be welcomed warmly when you arrive; almost like family. Suzanne, at the Front Desk is an expert when it comes to insurance, and oftentimes finds certain interpretations in your policy (written in ways that can be confusing, at least for me) where - surprise - you are covered! I love Dr Nodesh, who is a kind and attentive genius. Mine was a complex treatment plan that took a long time to complete (many implants). He's meticulous, and doesn't hesitate to send things back to the lab if they don't meet his high standards (which = perfection). In the end, you'll be happy with both the esthetics and the functionality of his work. Dr Schwartz, would come into Dr Nodesh's room on occasion just to say hello. His personality can't help but brighten your day. He also designed the offices beautifully, making going to the dentist - if not a day at the beach - then a walk in the park! I've been going to CAD for 3+ years now, and I can't imagine going elsewhere between Tampa and Miami. Thanks to all at CAD!"

I had sever tooth decay among various other problems. Now years later, I've had just about every procedure you can think of. From root canals, to tooth extractions, to implants and more. Every single visit has been a great experience for me. I know not everyone has the same history as me, and each person has their own unique challenges. But if you are someone that's never been to a dentist, or may be scared to visit one due to the fear of pain. I would highly recommend this office."
